Dear Friends,

After careful consideration and number-crunching, we’ve realized that we need to close our cafe operation. This was a very difficult decision to come to, but a necessary one in these uncertain economic times. We’ve learned so much from the experience, and we’re so thankful for every conversation, connection, and laugh that happened in our space.

The cafe’s last day will be May 30th, after which we’ll be taking a few days to incorporate our market products into the General Store, with the hope of reopening June 4th.

Here’s what’s staying, and what’s expanding:

1. Our market section: the farm stand, package-free deli, the goods in our fridges and freezers, the kombucha, the folk skills supplies and books, and of course bulk tea and coffee, are all moving fully into the general store.

2. The events and workshops will stay and grow. Our cafe space will be dedicated to community programming, workshops, and gatherings. This means we’ll have room to expand the programming that’s become so important to our community. From herbal workshops, sewing skills, food preservation and foraging, to gatherings centered around sustainability and community support, we’re very glad to be continuing this part of what we do.

We’re grateful for the cafe chapter and deeply sad that we have to let it go. We will miss being a space where people can do a few hours of work, meet with friends, and share themselves with us. We have loved serving and getting to know our cafe customers, and we will miss being able to interact with each and every one of you in this way.

Thank you to all of you who were part of this journey with us. And as always, we’re excited about what comes next and look forward to sharing it with you all ♥️

Our market section offers sustainably packaged farm stand goods, bulk coffee and tea, fresh pasta and pierogi, and a deli that lets you refill your own containers with deli goodies like yogurt, cheese (vegan and dairy), pickles and ferments, and hummus!

Enjoy delicious food and drink while reducing single-use packaging!
